Tronc Commun
The “Tronc Commun” refers to the common foundation that is necessary for all those body-therapeutic methods that can be completed with the federal diploma in complementary therapy (at Kientalerhof these are: Shiatsu and Craniosacral Therapy). The courses of the Tronc Commun are a prerequisite for the acquisition of the industry certificate KT within the framework of the admission to the Higher Professional Examination KT (HFP KT, German only).
The Tronc Commun at Kientalerhof has been accredited by the OdA KT (Organisation der Arbeitswelt Komplementärtherapie) since 1 May 2016 and meets the requirements and quality standards for the federal certificate in complementary therapy.
The Tronc Commun consists of three subject areas:
MG = medical basics = 182 h
SG = social science basics (psychology, conversation) = 104 h
BG = professional basics (professional identity, ethics, practice) = 56 h
All required hours (MG/BG/SG) can be attended either in Kiental or in Wetzikon. The courses are coordinated in terms of content. The module medical basics (MG) also corresponds to the guidelines of EMR and ASCA. In order to receive a certificate of completion, the individual parts of the Tronc Commun (MG, SG and BG) must each be attended as a whole at one school. We recommend to attend all parts at Kientalerhof. Previously attended courses can be credited according to the regulations and with prior written clarification with the course organization of the Kientalerhof. It is not possible to attend individual modules at other schools during the current training.
All courses can also be attended individually and independently of the “Tronc Commun training” and can be credited as EMR/ASCA compliant training.
