Rent our rooms for your own courses
On this page you will find general information on room rental and more detailed information on the individual seminar rooms. At the bottom of the page, an overview calendar shows the availability of the various seminar rooms. However, these availabilities are not set in stone. Often something can still be moved to make it fit. Therefore, do not hesitate and contact us in any case.
Whether conference or seminar, body therapy or music, yoga or meditation – our eight seminar rooms in the Kiental Valley as well as our course room in Wetzikon are suitable for numerous purposes and group sizes.
Thanks to our various buildings in Kiental, we can also accommodate large groups. Moreover, if the house is fully occupied, there is the possibility of renting additional rooms and holiday apartments in the village (all within a radius of max. ten minutes on foot). In summer, the camping site outside the village can also be used.
We offer rooms and overnight accommodations for different budgets and requirements. We would be happy to advise you individually.

Whether retreat, therapy training or Yoga: rent our rooms
For your own courses, team events or retreats you can rent individual rooms or the Kientalerhof as a whole for larger occasions. Our rooms are equipped with Wifi, whiteboard and beamer. The peace and quiet of the Kiental Valley and the friendly designed rooms create the best conditions for learning and relaxing in the middle of nature. The wonderful garden with a view of the Blüemlisalp offers the perfect balance for your activities inside the house.
Seminar house with wholefood kitchen
An important feature of the Kientalerhof is the excellent, predominantly vegetarian cuisine, which is highly appreciated by our guests. Natural, organic products are prepared with much love and imagination and we pay attention to a balanced composition of the meals. Of course we are also happy to take into account the wishes of our guests and external course organisers whenever possible.
All groups that are rented in our course rooms in the Kiental will be catered for in the Kientalerhof – even if the corresponding course room is not in the main building (e.g. school building or Naturhof).
Unfortunately, we cannot offer any catering or accommodation for our seminar room at the Wetzikon location.

Seminar Rooms at Kientalerhof
Kiental BE, Switzerland
Our four course rooms in the main building, the Kientalerhof, are suitable for very different occasions, courses and group sizes. You can rent single or several rooms together, for larger occasions even the entire Kientalerhof. Below you will find a description of the four course rooms.
DO-JO (195m²)
Very spacious and also harmoniously designed, light-flooded room with a breathtaking mountain panorama view. If required, the room can be divided into two rooms using a curtain.
Size: 16.5m x 14.3m (195m²)
Infrastructure: Professional audio system for concerts and dance events, mixing console with inputs for microphone, laptop, iPad / iPod and digital music source. Internet via cable or wireless (WLAN). Additional equipment by arrangement. See also list on the right for details of equipment.
Floor: Solid beech parquet flooring (with dance floor underlay).
Suitable for: up to 330 standing or 220 seats for concerts, groups up to 120 persons e.g. for dance workshops, up to 60 persons for bodywork on futons or massage tables.
Tilia (60m²)
Friendly, spacious room with playful charm.
Size: 8.1m x 7.5m (60m²)
Infrastructure: Internet via cable or wireless (WLAN). See also the list on the right for details of equipment.
Floor: Beech parquet flooring, solid.
Suitable for: Courses, company events, conferences, film evenings, lectures.
Oak (58m²)
Light-flooded room with excellent acoustics
Size: 8.2m x 7.1m (58m²)
Infrastructure: Internet via cable or wireless (WLAN). See also the list on the right for details of equipment.
Floors: oak parquet, floating.
Suitable for: Music and singing workshops, courses, yoga retreats, conferences, lectures.
Lotus (45m²)
Semicircular room on the ground floor with beautiful view into the garden
Size: 7.5m x 7.2m (45m²)
Infrastructure: Internet wireless (WLAN) on request. See also list on the right for equipment.
Floor: Spruce, solid.
Suitable for: Bodywork, smaller courses, meetings and presentations.
Seminar Rooms at ChieneHuus
Kiental BE, Switzerland
Besides our seminar rooms at Kientalerhof, we also have two beautiful course rooms in the neighbouring ChieneHuus to offer. The ChieneHuus, opened in 2018, impresses with its high room quality, thanks to to the Holz100 construction method according to Erwin Thoma. Further Seminar Rooms
Kiental (BE), Switzerland and Wetzikon (ZH), Switzerland
In addition to our seminar rooms in the two main buildings Kientalerhof and ChieneHuus, we also rent out two additional course rooms in the village of Kiental: one in the nearby Naturhof and another in the former school of the village (the school itself is closed today). In both cases, the respective groups have their meals in the dining room of our main building (Kientalerhof) and also use the other public areas there, such as the reception.
Furthermore, our seminar room in Wetzikon can also be rented. In Wetzikon, we cannot offer our own gastronomy or overnight accommodation. However, in the section about our room in Wetzikon you will find some recommendations for Restaurants and B&Bs nearby.
Seminar Room Naturhof (75m²) | Kiental BE
A good 10 minutes' walk from the main building, the Kientalerhof, you will find the Naturhof near the Chiene river. It offers a group room with a lounge area (75m²). Due to the spacious outside space including a fireplace, the Naturhof is particularly suitable for groups who like to be out and about in nature. Smaller groups (8-10 persons) can also rent the room including mattress storage.
Size: 7m x 10m (70m²)
Infrastructure: Small kitchen and dormitory for about 10 persons, WLAN. In the garden, there is an outdoor place on the lawn as well as a large fireplace and room for sweat lodge rituals. See also the list on the right for details of facilities.
Floors: vinyl floor (parquet look).
Suitable for: Creative and artistic courses, bodywork, mindfulness, nature-related courses.

Seminar Room Schulhaus (106m²) | Kiental BE
The former school building of the village of Kiental (no longer in operation) is only a three minute walk away from the Kientalerhof. There, we offer a quiet, bright, newly renovated room, which has an integrated washbasin and can be divided into two sections by a sliding door if needed.
Size: 8.5m x 7m and 7.8m x 6m (total 106m²)
Infrastructure: Toilets in the same building; WLAN not available (please note: in the village you only have mobile phone reception with Swisscom) See also list on the right for details of facilities.
Floor: Beech parquet flooring.
Suitable for: Creative and musical courses, bodywork, mindfulness, yoga, digital detox.
