Level 7 - Diagnosis means understanding

Course content

This course focuses on introducing the path of diagnosis in Shiatsu. This leads from the art of listening in the initial consultation, back diagnosis and whole-body examination, through reflection on the information received, to treatment with a clear focus.

The formulation of a treatment hypothesis helps to find a treatment focus that makes sense for this person in this situation.

Level 7 also introduces the back diagnosis according to Masunaga and deepens whole-body visualisation as well as the inner technique of expansion and straightening. The 5 phases of transformation and the principles of Yin and Yang are reflected upon in their application within the diagnostic process.

The KT core competences are further developed and the basic understanding of Shiatsu as a process-accompanying therapy is addressed. The concepts of salutogenesis, resource and resilience, which are important for Shiatsu practice, are examined in more detail, and the KT concept of goal clarification becomes understandable for Shiatsu practice.
