New Deep Bodywork® seminar!
Healing the core of the body: quadratus lumborum, psoas and adductor muscles of the thighs
Tiefenbindegewebs-Techniken für Massage- und Körpertherapeuten
As the demand for deep connective tissue work is increasing, Perry and Johanna Holloman have developed a series of Deep Bodywork courses that they teach at Esalen Institute, California and around the world. Each of these seminars focuses on specific body structures and segments and their functions and possible acute and chronic complaints. After participating in 5 Deep Bodywork courses, the certificate “Deep Bodywork® Practitioner” can be acquired.Deep Bodywork, when applied with great sensitivity, is one of the most effective methods available to bodyworkers. By slowly opening the deeper layers of muscle and fascia, we are able to bring the mind into contact with areas of the body that were previously unconscious and blocked. This process can release a lot of previously bound energy, which can then be used for self-healing. In this way, practitioners can even help their clients with seemingly unsolvable problems.
The special thing about Deep Bodywork is the slowness and empathy with which it is applied, which does not cause the client to resist or counter-tension, but rather to open deeply, let in and heal on many levels.
This course teaches massage and bodyworkers how to effortlessly integrate effective techniques from deep connective tissue work into their practice. Both in private practice and in spas/hotels, the demand for practitioners who can work effectively and competently on deeper layers of the body is increasing.
