Energetic Massage Basics

Energetic Massage is a hands on and hands off healing body work technique that addresses directly all the layers of the energy body and the physical body. It was brought to the world through the brazilian trance medium, Luiz Gasparetto in 1980 at the Esalen Institute, Big Sur, California, USA.
During this time the chinese spirit Chung In Lang, a refined master of energetic healing, channeled through the medium, showed its methods of cleansing old energetic patterns and shared the knowledge in the amazing possibilities of self healing that the human body innates and activates, once it is placed in trust by the observer (like Quantum Physics is discovering nowadays). Around the same time Human Potential Movement and Transpersonal Psychology were being created, with the important focus on the amazing capabilities of the human body.

Maria Lucia was among the people that were present during the time when Chung In Lang shared its work and has been dedicating her life since 1980 to teach this work at Esalen and to spread it internationally until her peaceful passing in 2014.

Schahila Ute Albrecht was learning, studying and practicing with Maria Lucia at Esalen and internationally since 1996. Schahila was assisting, translating and co-leading the work at Kientaler Hof and will continue leading through the workshops of Energetic Massage.

Course content

In this workshop you will learn the technique of Energetic Massage and everything you need to be able to start to practice, so you can become a healing practitioner over time, once the method and its background is learned and perfected.

• introduction into the system of Energetic Massage with the background of how it came into existence and embedding it into a historical frame of human consciousness evolution
• learning the technique and the different sequences of Energetic Massage by experience
• practical introduction into the energetic systems of the human body: the layering of the energetic body, pathways of the energetic flow, energy fields
• raising awareness and sensitivity to perceive energy movements and shifts in oneself as well as in others
• learning and practicing to communicate inner perception
• experience the effects of Energetic Massage and to discover the principles behind
• opening to and experiencing self-healing processes
• supporting others in their self-healing processes
• how to talk with clients and how to accompany clients in their processes
• ethical principles of Energetic Massage

The Energetic Massage technique needs to be practiced again and again, so your body and being can learn, other than solely through information for your mind.
By continuously practicing this technique we will also learn by experience the Natural-Cosmic Laws of a new expanded reality.

Course aims

The basis of the energetic massage work includes:

• becoming conscious of intention coming from the heart and supported by the mind as the main tool for working with energies
• the willingness to learn how to be present in your body and how to know which energies are yours and which energies are coming from outside: boundaries
• being able to be conscious of how you feel and to communicate your truth with honor and respect for yourself and for the other individual you are relating to
• maturing in how to be an expert of yourself and not of the other person
• learning how to use words in a positive way as they are vehicles of intention which create realities
• using the hands to cleanse old ways of being and old patterns of thinking and behaving
• once the cleansing part is done, learning how to channel Heaven and Earth energies
• learning to trust that once the cleansing part is done a new way of being and self healing starts to emerge from within
• knowing that Healing can be a slow and patient process, and how to give enough time and space so the self healing process can unfold to its full possibility

Target group

This workshop is open for everybody of every age. It is suitable for beginners as well as for any therapists and body workers.
With the successful participation in the basic workshop it is possible to participate in the advanced workshop, which starts a day after. This gives you a unique intensive time of self-healing, learning and inner growth during golden October in Kientaler Hof.

There are no prerequisites necessary.

27 hours education/advanced training EMR/ASCA compliant.



Because the workshop will start at 10am in the morning, it is possible for participants from farer away to smoothly arrive at Kientalerhof the day/ the evening before. If you wish so, please note your wish of early arrival in your registration.
