Somatics & Bodywork in Beziehung zum TanzExperimentelles Studium von Somatics, angewandter Anatomie und Körperarbeitstechniken. Erkundung der sensorischen, strukturellen, energetischen und tiefgreifenden Berührung und der damit verbundenen Bewegungsqualitäten. Theoretischer Hintergrund der somatischen Prinzipien, Geschichte der Somatik, Faszien, grundlegende Anatomie des Nervensystems und Elemente der polyvagalen Theorie.

Theoretischer jungianischer Hintergrund des Unbewussten, aktive Imagination, Schatten und Individuation. Elemente der visionären Cranio-sakralen Arbeit wie die Entwicklung von Wahrnehmungskanälen und anatomische Erkundungen rund um das Cranio-sakrale System (Schädelknochen, Kreuzbein, Wirbelsäule, Rückenmark) sowie dem Chakren-System. Integration und Vertiefung der AM-Praxis durch individuelle Prozesse und Gruppensettings. Beurteilung der Halbzeit der Ausbildung und pädagogischer Input für das Unterrichten.

Course instructor
Sabine PARZER
is a dancer, choreographer, dance educator, body therapist and author. She is the director of the Holistic Dance Institute, which she founded in 2010. The institute is accredited by ISMETA, and Sabine is recognised as a Master Somatic Movement Educator. For more than 35 years, she has been teaching, performing and conducting research in the USA, Canada, Europe and Asia. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Dance from Columbia College Chicago and is trained in Systemic and Integrative Movement Education®. Contact Improvisation and Authentic Movement have shaped her work since 1997, complemented by extensive training in somatic and body-oriented methods. From 1999 to 2013, she worked as a holistic dance educator and dance therapist at an Austrian rehabilitation centre. In 2012, she co-founded Contact Festival Austria and served as its artistic director until 2017. She regularly teaches at international dance festivals and is regarded as a pioneer in somatic and healing dance. Her teaching is especially appreciated for its humorous, grounded and holistic approach.
