Movement in Touch/Contact Improvisation, Improvisationscores und Performances-QualitätenVertiefung unserer vorhandenen Bewegungsfähigkeiten, Zugang zu den Elementen des Tanzes in Solo-, Duo- und Gruppenpartituren, Bewegen mit und ohne Berührung, Schaffen und (Neu-)Definieren von Gruppendynamik während instant composition scores. Arbeit mit Grenzen, Performance-Qualitäten und spezifischen Partnering-Fähigkeiten. Einbeziehung von somatischem Material, innerer Referenzierung und emotionaler Beziehung mit dem kreativen Ausdruck und der Einbeziehung von Publikum/Zeug*innen/Umgebung.

Unwinding & Prozessarbeit
Embodiment-Praktiken und Pädagogik zur Verarbeitung somatischer und emotionaler Inhalte. Vertiefung des Verständnisses für die Rolle der*des Holistic Dance Tanzpädagogen*in mit bezeugenden Qualitäten und Werkzeugen um körperliche und emotionale Prozesse zu unterstützen. Unwinding als kreatives und visionäres Cranio-sakrales Prinzip, sowie als Selbstheilungspraxis. Teaching Labs mit spezifischen Themen und Unterrichtsbeispielen von Teilnehmer*innen.

Course instructor
Sabine PARZER
is a dancer, choreographer, dance educator, body therapist and author. She is the director of the Holistic Dance Institute, which she founded in 2010. The institute is accredited by ISMETA, and Sabine is recognised as a Master Somatic Movement Educator. For more than 35 years, she has been teaching, performing and conducting research in the USA, Canada, Europe and Asia. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Dance from Columbia College Chicago and is trained in Systemic and Integrative Movement Education®. Contact Improvisation and Authentic Movement have shaped her work since 1997, complemented by extensive training in somatic and body-oriented methods. From 1999 to 2013, she worked as a holistic dance educator and dance therapist at an Austrian rehabilitation centre. In 2012, she co-founded Contact Festival Austria and served as its artistic director until 2017. She regularly teaches at international dance festivals and is regarded as a pioneer in somatic and healing dance. Her teaching is especially appreciated for its humorous, grounded and holistic approach.
