Esalen® Massage Introductory Course

This weekend, we will learn the basic technique of Esalen massage, which involves long, slow strokes from head to toe. These strokes, performed with great presence, awaken the holistic body awareness and create a feeling of deep well-being and relaxation.

This introductory course is also the first of five compulsory modules required to obtain the Esalen Massage Practitioner certificate.

We experience the healing, balancing, and integrating effects of this type of flowing massage work, both as givers and receivers. Free dancing (Soul Motion) and mindful yoga complement the lessons to deepen sensory perception and presence. We integrate these experiences, which we experience on our own bodies, into the massage in order to understand the flow of the hands as a dance around the table and to apply the long strokes in connection with lightness and gravity.
The workshop is aimed at both beginners and experienced practitioners in the field of bodywork who want to refresh their basic knowledge or find new inspiration.
