is a dancer, choreographer, dance educator, body therapist and author. She is the director of the Holistic Dance Institute, which she founded in 2010. The institute is accredited by ISMETA, and Sabine is recognised as a Master Somatic Movement Educator. For more than 35 years, she has been teaching, performing and conducting research in the USA, Canada, Europe and Asia. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Dance from Columbia College Chicago and is trained in Systemic and Integrative Movement Education\u00ae. Contact Improvisation and Authentic Movement have shaped her work since 1997, complemented by extensive training in somatic and body-oriented methods. From 1999 to 2013, she worked as a holistic dance educator and dance therapist at an Austrian rehabilitation centre. In 2012, she co-founded Contact Festival Austria and served as its artistic director until 2017. She regularly teaches at international dance festivals and is regarded as a pioneer in somatic and healing dance.
