In this course the concept of health, illness and healing is approached from an energetic point of view. The approach is very different from the more common view and is based on more subtle aspects drawing on very authoritative sources in the holistic world.<\/p>\n
The psychological aspects of the meridians as presented by Master Masunaga represent a first part of the seminar, in order to analyze, also through practice, the \u201ctalents\u201d that each meridian contains.
\nThe rediscovery of personal talents makes it possible to move towards an energetic balance that contains the seed of the healing process.<\/p>\n
Yogananda Paramahansa’s teachings represent a second section of the course, in which \u201cscientific healing affirmations\u201d and \u201cmetaphysical meditations\u201d are a perfect skill with the work on the energetic level. The main aim is to strengthen the healing process through a practice that is more supportive, especially on a more subtle energetic level.<\/p>\n
Complementing the teaching is a third part in which we look at the \u201cseven stages of health\u201d and the \u201cseven stages of illness\u201d presented by George Ohsawa, a Japanese writer and popularizer of the last century. This \u201crevolutionary\u201d approach gives us an extra tool in our work for the overall assessment of the person.<\/p>\n
In the studies of many researchers, doctors and patients, the belief is gaining ground that the body and the brain talk to each other and influence each other, in health as well as in disease.
\nThis conviction, already well established in the knowledge of Hippocratic medicine and known from time immemorial in traditional oriental medicine, is now finding scientific basis in neuroscience and other disciplines.<\/p>\n
We can, through our practice, expand our perception of health and healing, we can practice in a more conscious way and more than this learn to put aside the ego and the will to \u201cchange\u201d the other convinced that we know what is best for the other person. Stripping ourselves of the \u201csaviour\u2019s syndrome\u201d and developing ever greater sensitivity allows the person’s system to find \u201cits\u201d way to profound wellbeing.<\/p>\n
